Wattcon returns after a 4-year-hiatus with a one-day fan event in Los Angeles this Saturday, November 19th. Here's what we know about the event...
Where & When
Wattpad's Wattcon fan convention is set for November 19th, 2022, at the Loews hotel in Hollywood, California. The event is returning after several years' break following the 2018 Wattcon in New York. Former iterations took place in New York, Toronto, and London, but this year's is the first in the West Coast area.

7 - 8 PM Wattys After Party
The event will be both in-person in Los Angeles and streamed live online for remote attendees. In person tickets are $39 and virtual tickets are $5 on the Wattcon Website.
Who Will Be There?
An impressive list of Wattpad superstars will be in attendance as part of the day's panels, including the legendary Anna Todd. Planned speakers include Beth Reekles (The Kissing Booth), Kate Marchant (Float), Jessica Cunsolo (She's With Me), and Ariana Godoy (Through My Window). Big names from Wattpad HQ will also be there, including Wattpad's President, Jeanne Lam and Wattpad Webtoon Studios' Head of Global Entertainment, David Madden.

In-person attendees will also have social events like a welcome reception on Friday night, a catered lunch, and a post-Watty's party. There will also be plotting workshops with Wattpad managing editor Suzanne Sutherland, book signings, and Q&As.
Live Watty Awards Ceremony
The night is set to start at 6pm with the first-ever live 2022 Watty awards ceremony. It will be hosted by Booktok icon Kevin Norman and influencer Jonathan Moore. There are a maximum 70 possible English-language Watty awards up for grabs this year, which will be selected from the previously announced finalists on the published Short List.
